A Gift of Scholarship
$500 & Up – Youth Philharmonic Concerto Competition
Your gift is awarded to the especially talented, Youth Phil junior or senior winner of this annual competition, who performs their concerto (solo) with the Youth Phil orchestra at the annual Spring Concert. Donor receives proper written and verbal acknowledgement.
$250 & Up – Brass Boot Camp (Summer Camp) Participation Scholarship
Your gift will allow a student of limited financial means to participate in the LVYO summer “Brass Boot Camp”. Brass musicians include the following instruments: French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Bass Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba. Donor receives proper written and verbal acknowledgement .
$145 & Up – LVYO Participation Scholarship
Your donation will help fund scholarships for program tuition, granted to students of financial need who meet LVYO financial aid criteria and desire to participate in LVYO. Donor receives proper written and verbal acknowledgement .
$100 & Up – Youth Phil Triennial Tour Scholarship
Your donation will help fund scholarships for Tour participation with Tour students from limited financial means.. Donor receives proper written and verbal acknowledgement .
Other Causes
$3,000 & Up – Brass Boot Camp Partner (Summer Camp 2012)
Your donation will assist in the success of LVYO's summer Brass Boot Camp. The camp is designed to engage and develop emerging young brass musicians in southern Nevada as well as regionally. Brass Master Artists Sam Pilafian (Arizona State Univ.) and JD Shaw (Univ. of New Mexico) will clinic this camp. Partner receives proper written and verbal acknowledgement. In addition, Partner's logo is published on all printed material that is printed, after Partner joins in partnership with LVYO
$3,000 & Up – C.O.P.S. Sponsor (LVYO program offering)
(Clinician Orchestra Preparation for Student)
Your gift will ensure the continuity of the COPS program that year, for young southern Nevada wind musicians. Funding will allow for specialists of wind instruments to clinic young musicians in small, instrument—specific skill instruction. Integration into full orchestra is the eventual goal, with the student embracing appreciation of all facets of wind instrument contribution to many genres of music. Donor receives proper written and verbal acknowledgement .
$1,000 & Up – Instrument Purchase & Repair
This gift allows LVYO to refurbish or purchase specialty instruments or accessories, for student and orchestra use. Donor receives proper written and verbal acknowledgement .
$700 & Up – Triennial Tour Instrument/Equipment Sponsor
Your gift will assist in the fees associated with overseas Tour large instrument and equipment transport and rental needs. Sponsor receives proper written and verbal acknowledgement .
$500 & Up – Graduating Senior Plaques
A gift of $500 will cover the cost of a beautiful piece of memorabilia for the LVYO graduating senior. An individualized plaque is presented to each LVYO senior at the final Spring Concert. Donor receives proper written and verbal acknowledgement .
$200 Up – LVYO Sheet Music
Your donation of $200 will cover the cost of a minimum of one entire set of sheet music purchased from a publishing house, and stored for future use in our LVYO Library. Donor will be acknowledged on original music first page, with their name.
$300 – Brass Boot Camp Sponsor (Summer Camp 2012)
Your donation of a minimum of $300 will cover the cost of hosting a special event with Brass Boot Camp students, faculty, friends and family. Donor receives proper written and verbal acknowledgement .
